The company is wholly owned by its President and CEO, Mr. Sul Gi Kang who previously worked as a bunker trader at the South Korean office of the UK-based bunker trader Cockett Marine Oil, for more than 10 years.
Prior to joining Cockett, Mr Kang worked in Hyundai Merchant Marine Co., Ltd's (now HMM Co., Ltd) liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipping division, before this business unit was sold to private equity investment company IMM Private Equity Inc. and re-established as Hyundai LNG Shipping Co., Ltd.
